Leveling a Mage can be pretty straightforward, but if you're new to the class there are some things you might not know that can make your life a whole lot easier. Leveling Tips for Fire Mage in Burning Crusade If you want to level as Fire, I'd recommend getting your hands on some powerful gear just to increase your Mana pool a bit so you don't spend too much time drinking. It's nowhere near as bad as Arcane, but it does still take it's toll on Mana. However, a weakness of Fire is that it is quite Mana heavy. As Fire, you excel at putting out high amounts of damage, both single target with and AoE with and, meaning you can speed through a ton of monsters at once. Fire provides a ton of damage and is useful for both questing and doing dungeons. Leveling Viability for Fire Mage in Burning Crusadeįire Mage is one of the two viable leveling specs for Mages. This is due to your wide toolkit, including very strong AoE spells, crowd control in, and, of course, ability to create food and drink for your party.
